Diagnostic Extern
Corbin is a Diagnostic Extern at Hopeology PLLC in St. Charles, Illinois, working under the supervision of Dr. Jillian Fitzpatrick.He supports psychological and neuropsychological assessment services through thoughtful, person-centered test administration. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Adler University.
Before joining Hopeology, Corbin worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including roles as a Direct Support Professional and Unit Aide. In these positions, he supported individuals living with neurological conditions, genetic disorders, and physical impairments, helping them develop independent living skills, manage behavioral challenges, and work toward meaningful personal goals. These experiences strengthened his commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Corbin also served as a sexual assault crisis counselor, providing support to survivors of sexual assault and human trafficking in emergency room settings. This work deepened his understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of creating a safe, supportive environment during times of vulnerability.
In addition, Corbin served in the U.S. Army as a cannon crew member. His military service helped develop the discipline, adaptability, and attention to detail that he brings to his assessment work today.
Corbin approaches each evaluation with empathy, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help clients feel comfortable throughout the testing process. He is committed to ensuring that every individual feels heard, respected, and supported while working toward a deeper understanding of their strengths and challenges.
Corbin believes that every assessment is more than a collection of test scores—it is an opportunity to better understand a person's unique experiences, strengths, and path forward.
